What to bring & wear for riding

  • Closed toe foot wear is a must.
    Low heeled boots work great

  • Long pants are a must, eg. comfortable jeans

  • Extra clothing suitable for weather changes is very helpful

  • ASTM/SEI Certified Helmets are a must.  We have these available to rent @ $3 per ride

  • A water bottle is recommended, particularly on warm days

  • Other items to consider:  bug spray, sun lotion

Info we'll ask from you:

  • Age, height and weight

  • Any injuries, disabilities, allergies etc... that would be helpful
    for us to know

  • A brief overview of your horse experience and anything in particular that you would like to work on

  • Contact phone number

  • And it's always interesting to hear how you heard about us

b'day lesson 2.jpg

Well I've managed to avoid 'Policies' for 15 years, but I've had to give in.  A  combination of skyrocketing costs and several incidents which have really made it tough to garner enough funds to keep going, it's time to put my big girl panties on and draw some clear lines.   At the end of the day, all that really matters is that the horses are safe, free to run and forage with their friends with no fear of an uncertain life ahead, and that we have the funds coming in to make sure that life continues for them.  I thank you all for your understanding

PAYMENT POLICY

  • Bookings are confirmed on receipt of payment.

  • Payment must be made in advance.

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • You will be contacted prior to lesson if we are experiencing an extreme weather event such as thunder storms, excessive heat, cold or smoke

  • Any lesson cancelled by us will be rescheduled.

  • We ask that you give as much notice as possible when having to reschedule your lesson time so that we can offer your slot to another student.

  • Non-emergency cancellations made with at least 24-hour notice prior to your lesson time will be rescheduled.  Unforeseen circumstances/emergency cancellations will also be rescheduled.

  • *Please note that if you do not give at least 24-hour notice when making a non-emergency cancellation this will result in a 'No Show' and you will be charged the full amount for your lesson.

  • Likewise, if you do not cancel a lesson and do not show up for it, it will be considered a No Show' and you will be charged the full amount for your lesson.

Your help with abiding by these cancellation policies is very much appreciated as broken promises doesn't feed horses 🤠
